Obituary of Sally Tucker
Sally Elizabeth (Isaacson) Tucker was born October 24, 1927 in Rochester, Washington. Her parents were Karl Julius Isaacson from Munsala, Finland, and Olga (Moller) Issacson, from Brunnby, Sweden. She died September 8, 2016 in Bellingham, Washington.
Sally loved and always showed her appreciation for her family and treasured her friendships. She enjoyed swimming and biking, adventure and travel, gardening, sharing stories about her life, crossword puzzles and Jeopardy. She actively participated in the League of Women Voters, the Democratic Party, March of Dimes, Post-Polio Group, and supported many other organizations.
She will be missed by her husband of 67 years, Philip James Tucker, of Bellingham, her daughters, Karly Tucker (Jeff Jacobsen), and Teresa Tucker (Tom Miller), her grandchildren, Simon Lapof, Sadie Miller, Katy Lapof, Max Miller and Iona Jacobsen, as well as her many nieces and nephews. Her friends and family remember her beautiful smile and kindness. She inspired others with her strength, determination, and sense of justice.
